In Loving Memory of Betsy “Chappy B” Buhler

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Betsy “Chappy B” Buhler following her long and courageous battle with cancer.

Chappy B was known, loved, and admired by so many. Her strength, faith, compassion, and unwavering spirit touched countless lives and made a lasting impact throughout our community.

Her passing leaves a tremendous hole in the hearts of all who knew her. While we grieve this immeasurable loss, we will continue to honor Chappy B’s legacy at the Paint the Parkway Pink race through the Chappy B Mile, celebrating the love, hope, courage, and determination she shared so generously with others.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and everyone whose life was changed by knowing her. Chappy B will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

When: Saturday, October 10th, 2026
Where: San Antonio Police Training Academy (12200 SE Loop 410 Access Rd)
Who: Everyone! This event is open to the entire community.
The Course: Flat, fast, and 100% stroller-friendly and accessible for all!
